Harmony Condo was amazing!
Review Submitted: Avril 2015

Harmony Condo was amazing! We were a group of 8 women, and everyone was ‘wow-ed’ when they walked in. Our condo was ground-level and we could open the patio door, walk on the grass about 20 feet to the pool, and within seconds walk thru the beach-gate to the beach. Sonja, the property management agent was timely, informative and responsive. We had no issues getting in to the condo and closing out with Sonja present. The location could not have been more perfect. Every night we walked along the beach about 5 minutes to the beachfront restaurants in Cabarete for dinner. A mini-market for food was about a 10-15 min walk into town. The condo itself was impressive – great amenities and features. A/C, dishwasher, blender, amazing shower-heads and water pressure, washer/dryer, and internet. Our internet was a little slow and the beds were a little bit hard but other than that – this place is perfection. If I can go back one day, I will DEFINITELY stay here.

Exquisite Cabarete Bay Condo!!!
Review Submitted: August 14, 2012 Date of Stay: July 2012

This Cabarete Bay condo is amazing! The condo is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The patio is such a comfortable and inviting place to watch the sunset. The infinity pool is just steps outside your condo door. We ate out most evenings, but the large kitchen has everything you might need to cook with if you choose to. The condo is close to all of the restaurants/bars in Cabarete if you decide to eat out. Sonja, the property manager is most helpful and made us feel so welcome! We couldn’t have had a more wonderful family vacation and we definitely enjoyed our time at this location!!! We can’t wait to come again! Thank you!

This time the pictures didn’t do the place justice
Review Submitted: May 9, 2012 Date of Stay: March 2012

This was my first time ever renting a vacation home, and have learned how great it can be (and cheaper too). I was looking for a nice relaxing place to spend my last spring break in college with a group of friends (12 in total) and this placed seemed great when I was looking around – we decided to live here because it had such great reviews already and thought hell why not. Needless to say out experience here was excellent.
The rooms were very big (esp. the master bedroom) and the location was unbeatable. You could literally roll out of bed and walk to the beach, or pool (whichever you prefer). When we stayed many of the other homeowners in the complex weren’t there so it was almost like having our own private beach, which was amazing. Since there were 12 of us, we all shared beds (there are 6 beds total). The guards were all very nice, and were helpful in providing us information about the town. The thing that I loved about planning this vacation was how easy it was. I was literally in contact with the management group and setup airport transportation to and from the airport as well as answering all my questions (I had a ton). We flew in from NYC to Santiago since plane tickets were cheaper.
We all ended up cooking most of our food during our stay here, and yes the kitchen comes fully stocked with knives, plates, pans, etc. The super market was about a 10 minute walk on a sidewalk (it was called janets) and prices were pretty cheap too. If you didn’t want to walk back to the apartment complex after getting some groceries you could ride a motorcycle back for 100 pesos.
All the restaurants nearby were easily accessible by the beach or by the road. During our stay they even had a St. Patrick’s day parade in town (there is one irish pub there called jose o’shay’s). It was a lot of fun.
I would HIGHLY recommend living here – the place is wonderful, the location is as close as you’ll get to the center of town while still having a great place to stay. If you do end up going, I would recommend going through Iguana Mama and booking waterfall jumping tours if you are up for it (90 bucks will provide you with transportation, food, and 8 hours of fun). We did the 12 waterfall jump, the largest one was about 25ft. All of us were scared of heights, but we all still made it through. And rent the donkey if you do. You’ll thank me later.

Amazing place for relaxation, sports and party !
Left on 08/30/2011 for a stay in June 2011

The chic atmosphere and decor are amazing. The services included were good and the rooms were comfortable and of the highest quality.
The condo is ideally located right on the beach and 2 minutes away from the nightlife and town activities.
This place is great for couples, singles or families looking for a unique Cabarete experience. The view of the pool and beach from our room was the best !

Luxury in Paradise
Left on 06/26/2011 for a stay in March 2011

From the initial booking to the final departure, the service offered at Ocean Harmony was without doubt one of the very best I’ve ever had in all my travels. Whatever was needed was instantly provided with such gracious hospitality.
The place is so spacious and beautifully decorated. It was such a delight to wake up every morning to the view of the infinity pool with the ocean as its backdrop. I loved that it was only steps from the beach as well as the action in Cabarete. I stayed with three other girlfriends and didn’t even need to rent a car. We felt so safe knowing that it was a gated community with security at all times.
I even got my first kitesurfing lessons right on the beach near our place. It was sad leaving but I’m already looking forward to our next girls’ trip.

Romantic Valentine’s Day Get-Away!
Left on 06/27/2011 for a stay in February 2011

My fiance surprised me with a trip to the DR for Valentine’s Day. Living in Miami, it was the perfect distance for a quick weekend get-away. Cabarete is absolutely beautiful. I’ve seen many beaches throughout the world and was stunned by the beauty of this beach. The azure waters, the endless sea-views and the gentle winds, created a very Winslow Homer like portrait in my mind. My boyfriend booked a beachfront condo at Sea Lane as we love the cozier feel over a hotel. We stayed in a villa called Harmony and had an amazing time. From the infinity pool to ocean views down to the cleanliness and service we received, it was truly a Valentine’s Day of a lifetime. It could not have been more perfect.

Cabarete Dream Vacation
Review Submitted: July 6, 2011 Date of Stay: February 2011

Was the listing descripton accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc?
– Sealane Management was excellent and the description given was very accurate in regards to everything. It was prime location and was fully equipped and very nicely furnished.
Was the property clean, was it well-maintained, etc?
The property was clean and the maid service came every other day to clean the house, sheets, floors etc. The condo looked EXACTLY like what is in the pictures.
Did the owner provide good customer service?
Their manager was very good and hospitable. She was there to cater to every one of our needs.
Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative
Yes i would, I travelled there with most of my immediate family this year. We plan to go back next year.
What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike
My family took Kitesurfing Lessons at Club Nathalie Simon next door, Casita de Papi is an excellent restaurant on the beach among others (lax, pomodoro)!
We had an amazing time! (by the way you DO NOT need to rent a car if you stay at this property)

Lap of Luxury
Review Submitted: July 5, 2011 Date of Stay: June 2011

The ideal place for relaxing and reading! I loved the modern furnishings, ample space, excellent amenities, convenient location, and beautiful infinity pool in front of the bay. The incredible moves of the kitesurfers are particularly enjoyable when you need to stretch the eye muscles beyond the inside of a book.
I’ve always been one to avoid the chain hotels and franchise restaurants and it was such a delight that Cabarete has remained immune to the corporate takeover. There is one main street with charming boutiques, restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, excursion tours, and spas. Everything you need is found right there and so close to Harmony.
Getting around is so easy, too. Cars are not needed cause all you have to do is walk to the entrance and a selection of motoconchos are at your disposal. The drivers are eagerly waiting to whisk you to your desired destination whether it is a few seconds to a spinning class or an hour’s distance to a ranch for horseback riding. They are so friendly and very inexpensive. You can’t get that service and price with renting a car.

Boys’ Getaway!!!
Review Submitted: July 5, 2011 Date of Stay: June 2011

When tents and hostels are below your standards and its time to move to affordable luxury, Harmony is the place to stay. We needed a spot on the water and comfortable for our lifestyle. Needless to say, the place was spacious for the four of us and had a great patio near the pool for hanging out on.
The little town of Cabarete is right next door and has some really great restaurants like Miros and Nikki Beach. We spent many a night at Lax and Ojos after kiting all day. Very friendly people in Cabarete!

Great Place
Review Submitted: May 9, 2012 Date of Stay: March 2012

I have stayed in this place several times. I love the place, very spacious, clean and a short walk to the beautiful cabarete beach, bars and restaurants.
Place has all the amenities needed and is very centrally located. The owner and administration are very good people as I have never had a problem here.
Will always attempt to stay here as long as the owners will have me!
Look forward to my next vacation in October 2012!
Thanks again!

30 people invited for my birthday where we all stay at Ocean Dream condos right on the beach of Cabarete.
All apartments are spacious, perfectly equipped and nicely decorated.
The perfect location to enjoy the beautiful bay of Cabarete, try all the various activities during the day, and enjoy the restaurants and bars at night.
All of that was done by only walking on the beach without taking any transportation or seeing any road traffic.
People are friendly and easy going.
This was a unique way of celebrating my birthday

Gorgeous, ultra-comfy place
Left on 11/12/2009 for a stay in December 2008

Location: perfect, in front of kitesurfers’ spot, 5mn walk from shops and restaurants. Apartment: huge rooms and beds, fully equipped, 100% comfort, beautiful, classy inside decoration, nice lawn. Silent air-conditioning, anti-mosquito grids, satellite TV, broadband internet, the whole bit. Whatever else you need is one phone call away: all you have to do is buzz the courteous and efficient condo administrator and she will deliver it quickly.
Neighborhood: quiet and laid back, great to relax. Small town warmth and safe feeling. Nevertheless, a 5mn walk on the beach is all it takes to find restaurants and clubs with a nice mix of local and international food, rhythms and people.
Two unforgettable things:
– the stunning Olympic size swimming pool designed to give you the optic illusion that it pours into the sea, and – the night sky where the milky way is so bright that it will stun stargazers and make lovers very romantic; it will make you remember how wonderful it is to be alive and part of nature’s majestic, infinite and eternal beauty. Romantically inclined dating-anxious singles may find the nightlife quickly repetitive and/or a bit too materialistic, even though everybody there is really nice and laid-back …
Cabarete is best for wind/kitesurfing or for chilling out with your significant other and/or family.

Good Trip
Review Submitted: March 31, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009

We have really appreciated that apartment, really comfortable, with my wife and our two children. The place is ideal for Kitesurfing, my wife could sunbath near the pool sheltered from the wind. The kids have been playing all days on the beach, in front of the apartment. The shops are really near and at night ,we could diner, feet in the sand, at a few steps from our Condo.
The bay is perfect for navigation, and my two children had the opportunity to start Kitesurfing, in a safety place.
We expect to return there this summer, the wind conditions are supposed be excellent.

Dream suite for dream vacation
Review Submitted: March 28, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008

This condo has huge rooms and beds, top-of-the-line first-world comfort (impeccable AC, windows with embedded insect protection grids, fully equipped kitchen and living room), a beautiful architecture and last but not least a stunning 25 meters front beach pool with a lowered rim that creates the optical illusion that its water smoothly merges into the ocean.
The beach is one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen (and I have been to the red sea and quite a few other tropical paradises) and so is the night sky with the bright Milky Way’s stardust painting the ocean water a glittery silver. You feel in a wilderness paradise at the end of the world, yet you have more comfort than at home. The location is perfect, in the very heart of the kite boarder’s spot and a 5mn walk from food marts and the Cabarete village, which felt very safe at all time.
As far as could tell, nightlife is limited to a few restaurants and bars at the edge of Cabarete’s beach. They have excellent food but the music tended to be too loud and too international for me (too much house, hip-hop. R&B and reggaeton, too little salsa, merengue and bachata). The crowd is nicely laid back and friendly, though its overwhelmingly gringo tourists / local material tourist seekers composition may become a bit numbing in the long run for romantically inclined well-traveled singles used to the diversity of big, cosmopolitan cities ;).
All in all a terrific place for an unforgettable vacation.
